LESs to be available through myPay

All Team New London active duty and Reserve military members and DoD civilians will, as of July 1, have to log on to the Defense Finance and Accounting Service's myPay web site at https://mypay.dfas.mil or http://www.dfas.mil to access their Leave and Earnings Statement (LES).

myPay is an automated system that eliminates the need to write letters or fill out forms to change a variety of payroll items. It allows active duty, reserve, and retired service members and DoD civilians to make changes online. A current list of the items that can be changed is available on the myPay web site or at the Personnel Support Detachment New London.
myPay is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week (except for one hour) to make changes or review the current account information, or three most recent pay statements.
A Social Security Number (SSN) and myPay Personal Identification Number (PIN) are required to access LESs. More information may be necessary to make additional changes.
Active Navy and Army can fax SSN, a copy of government photo ID, daytime phone number, and signature to DFAS at (fax) 216-522-5800 to establish a new temporary PIN.
Faxed requests will create new Temporary PINs set to the last five numbers of the requesting party's SSN. It will take at least two business days before the new temporary PIN will work, and no notification will be made that the PIN has been reset.
PINs are available to DoD civilians, military Reservists, active Air Force, active Marine Corps, military retirees and annuitants, and non-appropriated fund employees, by selecting "new PIN" under the "need a new PIN" option on the myPay Home Page. This will result in a new random temporary PIN being mailed to the requesting party's address of record currently contained in their pay system. Delivery may take as long as 10 business days.
Also, if the Customized PIN is unknown or suspended, it may be re-activated on-line in myPay by entering a SSN and any 4-8 digit PIN (once if the account is suspended and three times if the PIN is unknown). On-screen instructions will then explain how to establish a new customized PIN on-line.
PINs may also be customized by calling myPay toll-free at 1-877-363-3677.
Questions concerning specific pay account information should be directed to the payroll office the normal customer service representative.
For additional information about the options available in myPay, contact the Centralized Customer Support Unit (CCSU). The CCSU will also provide support for establishing and changing your PIN. Contact the DFAS CCSU toll-free at 1-800-390-2348 or Defense Switching Network (DSN) at 580-5122. This support line is available Monday through Friday, 7:00 A.M. to 7:30 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.
