Ogden welcomes Rev. Wade Brandt and his family to the community. Rev. Brandt was ordained and installed at Zion Lutheran Church Sunday, June 17. Rev. Brandt was born in Edgerton, WI in 1969 and graduated from Northeast Missouri State (now Truman State) in Kirksville, MO with a BS in mathematics. He finished his naval career at King George, VA as a lieutenant and became a computer programmer for defense contractors. While in Virginia he studied part time to get an MS in applied mathematics from Johns Hopkins. The couple moved to Chesterfield, MO in 2008 as Rev. Brandt began his seminary studies at the Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. His vicarage was served at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Bridgeton, MO. He graduated with his Masters of Divinity in May 2012.
