Friday, June 15, approximately 5:00 p.m., the Guthrie Center Police Department, assisted by the Panora Police Department and Guthrie County Sheriff's Office, apprehended 22-year-old Steven Graham, Des Moines, in Guthrie Center after being tipped off as to his whereabouts by someone who had seen his picture on KCCI television's Crime Stoppers report.
Graham's picture was broadcast after the armed robbery earlier in the week of a Walgreens store in Des Moines.
After the tip, local officers raided the home of Yolanda Clark at 202 Grand Street, Guthrie Center, where Graham was taken without incident into custody.
According to Guthrie Center Police Chief Mike Herbert, Graham is a previous resident of Guthrie Center. After apprehension he was transferred to the Polk County jail.
