Kids Time at the Park
Kids Time at the Park is Friday June 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. Kids Time is located at the city park by the band shell and sponsored by Ogden Family Dental and staff. This is a totally free, fun-filled afternoon! Dr. Platt and Dr. Gragg will be there helping with carnival type games and prizes. Some of the staff will also be there to help you make crafts to take home. Kids can enjoy free popcorn also.
The Cub Scouts will also be there with a couple of games and prizes. Patio Pros will have a clown passing out free helium balloons. 4-H'erss will be sponsoring a couple of fun activities. All kids are invited to come down. If you are with your sitter or grandparents or parents come on down to the park! But stick around kids there is another free activity right afterwards sponsored by Fun Days.
Smiley Face Train
Immediately following kids time at the park will be The Smiley Face Train. It will run Friday June 15 from 4 to 8 p.m. This is a ride similar to the one we have had in past years except it is not a train but actually connected smiley face cars. The exciting part is that it is a totally free ride sponsored by Ogden Fun Days at no cost to the kids!
Face Painting by Monkey Face Productions
This event is Saturday, June 16 from 12 t0 6 p.m. at the park. Kids from age 2 to 10 are invited to the park after the parade to get their faces painted with a unique, quality painted custom design by an artist from Monkey Face Production. You might be a tiger, or butterfly or maybe a super hero or princess! Many many designs are available to pick from. Only high quality hypo-allergenic and washable water based and glitter paints are used. Most of the cost is being sponsored by Ogden Fun Days. A tip jar will be there for you to give a tip to help supplement the cost. Kids, you can't miss this! Get in line early and wear your face art all day!
Pedal Tractor Pull
The Pedal Tractor Pull take place around the park. Sign up begins at 5:30 p.m. They let the clutch out and burn rubber at 6:00 p.m. There are eight classes of pullers with three trophy's per age group Ages: 4-11. Every participant receives a ribbon. There will also be a prize for teen and adult pullers. This is an Iowa sanctioned pull. Qualifiers will move on to state! Check out the tractors website at www.kidpowerpedalpulls.com
Pony Rides
Pony rides will be available Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1 to 9 p.m. Rides will be at the edge of the park.
BeHere 5K Fun Run
Registration forms may be printed off the Ogden Fun Days website. Please mail to Avril Elsberry, 1135 E Avenue, Ogden, Iowa 50212.
PLEASE GET YOUR ENTRY IN BY JUNE 8TH TO ENSURE YOU GET A T-SHIRT. Registrations will be accepted up to day of event but there is no guarantee of t-shirt if registering after June 8.
Tractor Ride
Tractor ride registration forms may be picked up at the following locations: Casey's General Store, Clark's Food Mart, City State Bank, Country Chit Chat, Lucky Pig, Ogden Farm and Feed, Ogden Lumber, Inc. and The Ogden Reporter. Mail completed forms to: Terry Wendt, 631 West Locust Street, Ogden, Iowa 50212.
Please get your entry in by June 1 to ensure you get a t-shirt. Registrations will be accepted up to day of event but there is no guarantee of t-shirt if turned in after the deadline.
