Tiger Coach Joe Smrdel was pleased with his team's performance.
"I think we handled the greens well and adjusted as we went. Every meet is a learning process with a team this young and I think we showed a lot of growth."
The Tigers gained valuable experience playing the course, as they will be back at Panorama for the West Central Activities Conference Tournament Monday, April 30.
Panorama/Jefferson
Tuesday evening the Lady Tigers used home field advantage to fire a 214 to defeat Panorama (232) and and Jefferson-Scranton (241).
Senior Zoe Woods pulled down medalist honors for the first time this season shooting a 48. Runner-up went to Jefferson's Elizabeth Carmen with a 51.
Tiger Coach Joe Smrdel commented, "Zoe continues to play better with each meet. If we can keep all four girls under 60 like we did today, we will be in great shape."
Other Tiger scores were Maria Ahrens 52, Mallory Osen 56, Kennedy Nelsen 58, Nicole Eivins 62, Hannah Woods 62, and Tyra Wickland 62.      Ankeny was paced by medalist Victoria Grasso who fired a sizzling 36. Grasso is the two-time defending state champion.
