PANORAMA BOYS TRACK

      Panorama made a good showing at the Wheeler Relays in Audubon Tuesday, ending third in the 13-team field.
      The Panthers only scored in two relays, but placed high in a number of individual events.
      Hunter Simmons had a breakout night with a victory in the 3200 meters, 11:05.92, and a second place in the 1600 meters, 4:57.25.
      Also collecting gold and silver was Cody Stepanek. He won the 110 meter high hurdles in 15.78 and was runner-up in the discus, 127'11".
      Luke Webner placed in three individual events. He captured first place in the 200 meters, 23.47, ran fourth in the 400 meters, 53.65, and took sixth in the long jump, 18'9.5".
      Chase Hennen was second across the finish line in the 100 meters, 11.60.
      Other individuals scoring for Panorama were Marcus Boldy, shot put, 41'6", fourth, and Josiah Moulds, 400 meter hurdles, 1:01.82, sixth.
      Moulds, Webner, Dalton Dorsett and Stepanek were members of Panorama's second place shuttle hurdle relay unit which was clocked in 1:02.99.
      The foursome of Hennen, Stepanek, Dorsett and Moulds ran sixth in the 4 x 100 meter relay, 47.89.
      Panorama will compete in the Gonzales-Parrish Coed Invitational at Guthrie Center Thursday and the West Central Activities Conference meet is Monday at Ogden.

Winterset
      With three first place events, Panorama took third at Winterset last Friday.
      Individual winners were Cody Stepanek, discus, 124'10", and Luke Webner, 400 meter hurdles, 58.27.
      Those two, along with Chase Hennen and Josiah Moulds, won the 4 x 100 relay in 45.33.
      Hennen took second in the 100 meters, 11.74, and Marcus Boldy second in the shot put, 39'11". Webner and Moulds collected third and fifth place points in the long jump, 19'10.5" and 18'9".
      Panorama's shuttle hurdle relay quartet (Moulds, Webner, Gavin Richey, Stepanek) finished third in 1:04.94.
      Hunter Simmons ran fourth in both the 1600 meters, 5:06.34, and the 3200 meters, 10:54.96.
      The Panthers placed fifth in the 4 x 400 relay (Jesse Haworth, Blake Hoffman, Daimean Canfield, Simmons) 3:49.26. Sixth place relays were the 4 x 200 (Haworth, Clinton Soll, Konner Faux, Canfield) 1:46.38 and the medley (Soll, Faux, Canfield, Richey) 4:20.62.
