PANORAMA SCHOOL BOARD

As if the pressure to win wasn't enough, Panorama coaches now will be evaluated by a 31-point check list.
The list was unveiled at the school board meeting Monday evening. It has 31 components in evaluating/hiring a coach. The evaluation was drawn up by the athletic director and a parent/coach advisory group.
There are four main areas of consideration with check points under each one. Main areas are management skills, coaching performance, professionalism and personal.
Board member Tina Thornberry suggested the evaluation be more specific and consequences listed if areas aren't met.
