An unusual situation arose at the Panora city council meeting which led to bills not being paid.
Stew Firebaugh and Mark Vogel were absent. Steve Pote abstained from voting as he works for Danco and had sold $605 of the firm's fire equipment to the city. This left only two members to vote, not enough for a quorum. A special meeting was slated to pay the bills.
