With just two first places, Panorama won the AHST Relays at Avoca Thursday scoring 138 points. Depth was the difference for the Lady Panthers who had double place winners in nine events. Panorama's lone victory on the track came in the 4 x 200 relay (Morgan Woodvine, Karlee Johnk, India Sparks, Sidney Beckman) 1:53.70. The Lady Panthers ran second in the 4 x 800 relay (Maere, Ahrendsen, Brooke Beckman, Appleseth) 11:05.52; second in the sprint medley (Brooke Beckman, Kirtley, Woodvine, Sidney Beckman) 2:02.11; third in the 4 x 100 (Woodvine, Johnk, Kirtley, Sidney Beckman) 53.54; third in the shuttle hurdle (Hafner, Bailey McAllister, Wagler, Sparks) 1:13.96; fourth in the distance medley (Emily Neel, Emilie Prince, Kirtley, Brooke Beckman) 4:54.55; and fifth in the 4 x 400 (Brooke Beckman, Emily Block, Sparks, Ahrendsen) 4:43.55. Carroll The Lady Panthers ended sixth among eight teams at Carroll Monday. Coach Greg Thompson said, however, it was a good meet after a four day weekend with a few of the team members not feeling well. Panorama won the distance medley relay with the quartet of Morgan Woodvine, India Sparks, Sidney Beckman and Karlee Johnk carrying the baton home in 4:39.57. Three Panorama relays placed second. They were the sprint medley (Woodvine, Hannah Appleseth, Sidney Beckman, Johnk) 1:58.37; 4 x 100 (Woodvine, Johnk, Brooke Beckman, Sidney Beckman) 53.48, and 4 x 400 (Brooke Beckman, Appleseth, Sparks, Woodvine) 4:35.33. Placing third were Madigan Maere, 800 meters, 2:41.80, and the shuttle hurdle relay (Brenna Hafner, Bailey McAllister, Maddie Wagler, Sparks) 1:12.71. Sparks was fourth in the 100 meter hurdles, 17.23. Also fourth was the 4 x 200 relay (McAllister, Emily Neel, Emilie Prince, Kylie Ahrendsen) 2:02.67. Scoring fifth place points were Appleseth, 3000 meters, 12:31.97; Shelby Lane discus, 98'0"; and Kelsey Wood, shot put, 32'1.5". Adding sixth places for the Lady Panthers were Brooke Beckman, long jump, 14'0"; Lane, shot put, 31'9.5"; and Hafner, tie, 4'4". Emily Neel was named outstanding performer by coaches.
