A South Ozone Park man was found dead outside his home last Thursday morning in what police have labeled a suspicious situation.
At about 3:30 a.m., police from the 106th Precinct responded to a 911 call from 103-46 107th St. and found Paradeep Rambarran, 51, dead. The man was discovered lying on a pile of sheets outside his home.
According to one source, the NYPD recovered surveillance video footage from a fruits and vegetable store on the corner of Liberty Avenue and 107th Street, as well as from a neighbors residence, to aid them in the investigation. A man who indicated he was the brother of the deceased, said the family was told by police not to discuss the incident with members of the media.
A spokeswoman from the Chief Medical Examiners Office confirmed after Rambarrans autopsy Friday that the results were inconclusive. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
