Republican Thomas Herrmann easily wins second term as Easton first selectman

Easton First Selectman Thomas Herrman, a Republican, easily won reelection in Tuesday's voting, garnering 1,583 votes to 612 for his Democratic challenger, Chris Neubert.
In voting for selectman, Scott S. Centrella (R) was reelected with 1082 votes over his Democratic challenger,Robert Lessler, who garnered 794 votes.
Robert H. Lessler (D) challenger lost with 794 votes.
A total of 2,200 voters, or about 44 percent of the total 5,248 registered, came out to the polls under mostly fair skies Tuesday.
