Cyclones extend first-round playoff streak

HARLAN -- The Harlan Community defense rose to the occasion, driving home their sixth shutout of the season and winning 48-0 over ADM in a first-round playoff game at Merrill Field. The Cyclones (11-0) will play on Friday at 7 p.m. against Sioux City Heelan (10-1), a winner over Denison. Monday's win marked the Cyclones' 30th straight in first-round Class 3A playoff action.
