Walk-in clinics are being held at the agency's office this Friday, Nov. 6, from 9-3 p.m. In Warren, a clinic is scheduled Wednesday, Nov. 4, from 10-12. And in North Canaan, a clinic is scheduled Thursday, Nov. 5, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. No appointments are necessary, and the clinic is open to adults ages 18 and over. The cost is $35 for flu shots and $45 for pneumonia shots.
Participants should bring their insurance cards if they have Medicare, Aetna or Aetna Managed Medicare, ConnectiCare, including Medicare VIP, or local Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans. The nurses remind those who wish to be vaccinated to wear short sleeved-shirts.
