Fourth grader Cody Alberts takes advantage of a sunny fall day and tries out the new climbing wall recently installed at Ogden City Park. The "Aztec Climber" is one of four pieces of equipment purchased through funding from the Leonard A. Good Trust, Kouhn's Trust and the Lowry Foundation from Summit Supply Company. City employees and volunteers helping install the equipment are listed on page ten today. The miniature backhoe, a popular playground item, is in the process of being refurbished and will be ready for reinstallation in the spring. For the younger park goers there is the new "Fun Crawl", "Fire Truck" and "Ball Paddle, Music Panel." Other park renovations included a new roof for the open shelterhouse and remodeling/rewiring of the covered shelterhouse. |
