It's Almost Halloween!

COUNTY -- The children of Jeff and Susie Fah, Earling, are all geared up for Halloween this year. Pictured are front: Catherine, 1 1/2 years old. Middle: Joseph, 6, and Stephen, 4. Back: Thomas, 8, and Patrick, 10. Trick or treat night this year will be on Halloween, Saturday, Oct. 31 for all area communities. Following are the times: Harlan, 5-7:30 p.m.; Portsmouth, Panama, Elk Horn, Kimballton and Irwin, 5-7 p.m.; Westphalia and Defiance, 6-8 p.m.; Shelby and Persia, 5-8 p.m.; Earling, 5:30-7 p.m.; Manilla, 6-7:30 p.m. Kimballton will have a party at the town hall at 7 p.m. Manilla will have costume and pumpkin judging at 7:30 p.m. (Photo by Kim Wegener)
