Continuing with the theme of "The ECHO the World Needs to Hear", Iowa Mennonite School chapels challenge and motivate students to live out and share their faith.
The daily gathering of students and faculty include a variety of activities, including speakers, music groups, small groups, and in-depth looks at the Fruits of the Spirit.
Chapels during the week of October 19 included the following:
Monday - John D. Roth, professor of History, Goshen (Ind.) College
Tuesday - Hesston (Kan.) Bel Canto Singers
Wednesday - "Views of Faithfulness"
Thursday - "Faithful to Others"
For the week of October 26, the schedule includes:
Monday - "Intro to Gentleness"
Tuesday - no chapel, faculty in-service
Wednesday - small groups
Thursday - Daniel Martin, pastoral intern at Kalona Mennonite Church
Friday - student involvement
All chapels are open to the public, and typically begin at approximately 9:45 a.m. Please call the school prior to coming to check the exact time for that day's chapel.
