The dance floor was the place to be in Howard Beach last Thursday when residents were treated to a night of disco music, comedy and a buffet dinner at Roma View Catering, all for a good cause.
The International Society of S.S. Cosma and Damiano hosted the sold-out event, which featured music by Brooklyn’s own Joe Causi from 101.1 CBS-FM and 2 Plus 2 Entertainment. “Goumba Johnny” Sialiano from 103.5 KTU and entertainer Joe Moffa provided comic relief to a roomful of revelers, which included “Sopranos” actor Tony Sirico.

The money raised from the event will go to benefit several local charities, including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, St. Judes Children’s Hospital and the New York Families for Autistic Children.
