Supply drive to benefit humane society

The Barron County Humane Society seeks supply donations for the care of its animals and to run its office.
Some supplies requested include the following: kitty litter, bleach, liquid laundry soap, dryer sheets, garbage bags (55-gallon and kitchen), paper towels, toilet paper, washable dog and cat toys, Purina brand kitten and puppy chow, Purina brand cat and dog food, stamps, printer paper, thank-you cards and business envelopes.

The supply drive is Oct. 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and may be dropped off at Kirkwood's Market in Chetek, Becker's in Turtle Lake and Econo Foods in Barron.
