Elmhurst’s new recruiter

   Staff Sgt. Rafael Ortiz became the newest member joining the team at the U.S. Air Force recruiting center in Elmhurst.
   The Harlem native will help enlist new servicemembers throughout the area from his new headquarters near the Queens Center Mall.

   Ortiz was previosly a diagnostic imaging technician with the 6th Medical Operations Squadron based in MacDill Air Force Base in Florida.
