Grace Marie Wagamon, 94, of Washington formally of South English, died Thursday, June 25, 2009 at the Washington County Hospital following declining health.
Services were held Sunday, June 28, 2009 at the South English Cemetery with Pastor James Cluney officiating.
Grace Wagamon was born August 19, 1914 in Germanville, Iowa the daughter of Clark and Eva S. (Egli) Roberts. She was united in marriage to Doyle Wayne Wagamon. She was a member of the South English Union Church, United Ladies Society and was a Church Board member. She was a housewife and also worked as assistant manager for Roberts Grocery Store in South English.
She is survived by her son Gary Robert and wife Dixie Wagamon of Hedrick; daughter Peggy Lee and Fred LeFever of Washington; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Doyle in 1991, four brothers, Everett, Renals, Paul and LaRue; sisters, Vida Grove and Irene Cheney Moore; grandson Monty R. Wagamon.
