Parents of kids ages 3 to 5 may not be ready to send them off to a traditional summer camp just yet.
The town's Park and Recreation Department, however, gives parents the chance to bring children to an enrichment oriented "Kids Kamp 2009" nearly any weekday morning from June 29 to Aug. 14.

And that means parents can bring their kids for just one day, a couple times a week, an entire week or even a month - whatever works for them.
"The nice thing about our program is you can register for the day," said Camp Director Lisa Roncaioli.
And that works well with people's busy schedules and in this economy, added Director Lisa Zerio.
"People can be flexible," she said.
And the program is not just a time for free play. Roncaioli runs the town's fall preschool programs and for the summer brings science, art, culture, walking distance field trips and special events to the program.
The fee for the program is $65 per week or $15 per day or for multiple children - $55 a week or $13 a day.
Of course, Kids Kamp is just one of numerous programs the Parks and Recreation Department is offering this summer.
The town's state-licensed Day Camp is a typical summer offering that includes swimming, archery, arts and crafts, sports and more for $115 per week, with an extra $25 charge for before and after extended care. Numerous sessions for students entering grades one to nine are offered.
The town also offers speciality camps such as counselors in training, British Soccer camp, summer theater and a new LEGO engineering camp in which kids can design and build motorized machines, catapults, pyramids and much more. The camp runs from Aug. 17 to 21 for $14 and includes sessions for ages 7 to 9 and 10 to 12.
"You try to mix it up and not do the same thing," said Recreation Supervisor Chris Rusack.
Also offered are many sports camps such as golf, basketball, multi-sport and flag football/recreation.
Sessions and prices for the camps vary.
Also this summer drop in sessions with continue at the teen space at the community center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m. Cost is $5 and activities include Wii games, snacks outdoor activities and possible field trips.
"It's basically a place for them to go in the afternoon," said Teen Center Director Rita Chhabra.
Many independent senior clubs are less active in the summer but the senior center has plenty of activities including picnics, computer classes, a daily lunch program, Wii games, health sessions and more. The center is also looking for Mah Jong players and participants for the Senior Serenaders.
Of course summer also includes swim lessons and other swimming opportunities at the Dr. David W. Moser Memorial (formerly Elm Ridge) Pool and the indoor swimming pool at Rocky Hill High School.
Classes are $15 with a pool pass, which is $50 per family for the year or $35 for the summer. Individual passes are $40 and $25.
Detailed information can be found at the recreation office or at http://www.rhparkrec.org/
The department will also offer adults sports and fitness classes such as golf, strength training, pilates and computer fundamentals.
The summer concert series kicks off from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 9 (rain date July 14) with a Rod Stewart tribute from Rick Larimore.
Attendees are asked to bring a nonperishable food item for the town's food pantry.
For complete details on the programs, pick up a brochure at the recreation office downstairs in the Town Hall/Community Center building, log on to http://www.rhparkrec.org/ or call 258-2772 for more information.
