Numerous fund-raisers have been held for Newington native Stephan Provost after he was severely injured in an accident more than a year ago.
But an upcoming fund-raiser at a Rock Cats game will be special since it will offer a chance for family and friends to enjoy each other's company, said Meghan Provost Rodriguez.

Although she and Steve now live out of state, they and other family members plan to attend the game.
"We're looking forward to it," Rodriguez said. "This is kind of a fun day to relax and be with each other."
Although "Stephan Provost Night at New Britain Stadium" will not take place until June 27, tickets need to be ordered by June 1.
The event consists of an all-you-can-eat picnic at the "Bullpen" within the New Britain Rock Cats stadium, at 5:05 p.m. A Rock Cats game will follow at 6:35 p.m.
The tickets are $22, which includes the cost of picnic (food and drink) and the game. There will also be some bonuses for the little kids on this day as well. Those who would like to attend can send a check to 17 S. Williams St. Westmont, IL 60559, addressed to Meghan P. Rodriguez and your tickets will be promptly sent back to you.
Any questions can be e-mailed to, m003pprovost@yahoo.com
Rodriguez said about 50 tickets have been sold, but she's hoping for 100.
The event will benefit Steve's ongoing medical expenses as well as the Traumatic Brain Injury organization.
Provost, a 1995 graduate of Newington High School, an avid athlete and honors students, suffered from TBI as a result of a Jan. 7, 2008 accident in which his body was hit by a Sports Utility Vehicle.
Rodriguez said her brother has made extensive progress and can now communicate with very few problems. He can now also eat and continues to improve physically.
