Downtown Kalona starts its beautification

To the Editor:
Downtown Kalona starts its beautification. The flowering baskets are up! We have 22 poles in the downtown area that have deep purple flowered baskets hanging from them. I would like to thank all the following businesses for their contribution in making this a success.

I also want to thank the Kalona Rotary for their help in hanging the brackets from the poles and Stu Yoder for helping me hang the flowers.

You are so lucky!
I had the opportunity to visit Kalona a short while ago and with or without improvement, you have a wonderfully beautiful city as it is.You may add flowers but the peaceful beauty of Kalona will alway be there.
