Ms. Widmer is the daughter of Jon and Becky Widmer of Washington and the granddaughter of Marie Widmer of Washington and Merv and Ardith Eigsti of Denver, Colorado. She graduated from Iowa Mennonite School in 2000, Hesston College, Hesston, Kansas in 2002 and Goshen College, Goshen, Indiana in 2004. Ms. Widmer is currently employed as a Spanish teacher at Iowa Mennonite School.
Her fianc is the son of Dean and Sandra Lundberg of Iowa City. He graduated from West High School in 1997 and Faith Baptist Bible College, Ankeny, Iowa with a BA in 2001 and a Master of Divinity in 2004. Mr. Lundberg is currently employed at Fibrenew Inc.
The wedding will be May 30, 2009 at Upper Deer Creek Mennonite Church in rural Wellman.
