More than 200 of Frank Gulluscio’s closest friends and supporters packed the Roma View Restaurant last Thursday to show their support for Gulluscio, who is running for the 32nd District City Council seat in November. He is expected to face incumbent Councilman Eric Ulrich (R-Ozone Park).
State Sen. Joseph Addabbo Jr., who hired Gulluscio as an aide during his tenure as city councilman, said Gulluscio was always by his side when tough financial decisions had to be made.

Congressman Gregory Meeks (D-Jamaica) praised Gulluscio for his dedication to his community.
“In Frank Gulluscio we have a man that we know we can depend upon when times are hard,” Meeks said. “He’s ready to serve.”
Assemblywoman Audrey Pheffer (D-Howard Beach), who is co-leader with Gulluscio at the South Queens Democratic Club, said it’s his time to shine.
“I know what Frank can do, I know what he has done, I know what he will continue to do,” Pheffer said.
As music from “Rocky” blared in the background, Gulluscio took to the podium.
“I am running to ensure that all of us in this district have a voice and a strong advocate at City Hall,” he said. “I pledge to work for the needs and the interests of all the residents in this district.”
