A joint investigative effort by Panora policeman Rack Armstrong and Guthrie County deputy sheriff Todd Thorn has led to charges being filed for break-ins in Panora and Bayard the night of November 25, 2008.

Jennifer Clark, 20, and Travis Hon, 18, both of Des Moines, were charged in connection with burglaries at Chad's Restaurant and Main Street Hair Design in Panora and Shack's Lounge and Main Clip Salon in Bayard.

A search warrant was executed by Panora police and the sheriff's office at an apartment in Des Moines on January 30 where Clark and Hen were living at the time of the burglaries. The search led to the Des Moines Police Department charging both Clark and Hen for exercising control of stolen property.

Two separate charges have been filed by the Panora Police Department (Panora) and Guthrie County Sheriff's Office (Bayard) for the break-ins which involved the theft of property.

The pair was arrested March 19 by the Marshall County Sheriff's Office after arrest warrants were issued.
