Mayor Sandra Johnson submitted to the city council in January a list of appointments of Washington City Council members and city representatives to committees, boards and commissions.
      "I did not ask for formal acceptance from the council," Johnson said at last week's council meeting, "I thought it might be appropriate to do so,"
      The council also addressed an appointment to the Washington Board of Adjustment. At the request of Lyle Moen of the board of adjustment, the council approved the reappointment of Richard Paul to a new term on the board of adjustment.
      The council also confirmed the list of appointments as previously submitted.
