Council Bluffs police investigated a bank robbery Thursday.

Communication dispatches said the man told the teller he had a weapon, but no weapon was displayed.

The man received an undetermined amount of money and fled the scene, running northbound from business.

The man was described as a white male in his 50s, 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighing 200 lbs. The man had gray hair and was wearing round glasses.

The investigation is ongoing.
