MIDDLETOWN - Coach Scott Wickham celebrated his 100th victory at Saugerties High with Wednesday's resounding 54-21 triumph over Middletown in Section 9 wrestling.

The Sawyers improved to 2-2 with a performance that included seven pins and a technical fall.

Ross Kappler produced the quickest pin of 51 seconds at 171 pounds over Josafat Acevedo.

Other pins came from Brandon Gambino (103), Austin Hagan (112), Antoine Cummins (125), Jay Bermudez (130), Joey Gambino (145) and Anthony Serrarno (215).

Dan Bender (160) blanked Matt Roche 15-0 for a technical fall.
