Holli L. Read

CANASTOTA - Holli L. Read, 38, of 3335 Ingalls Corners Road, Canastota, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007, as the result of an automobile accident in the Town of Lincoln.

She was born on Feb. 2, 1969 in Oneida, the daughter of Marvin and Cynthia Sgroi Read.

Holli lived in Canastota all her life and was a 1987 graduate of Canastota High School.

She worked for the Oneida Savings Bank in Oneida for 19 years and was currently a senior trust service representative.

Holli loved her animals, especially her beloved dog, Candi, as well as gardening and crafts.

Surviving are her fiancé, Charles F. Pickard Jr. of Canastota; her parents, Marvin and Cynthia Read of Canastota; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah and Michael Findlay of Canastota, and Michele and Michael Bodley of Cazenovia; nieces and nephew, Kailee Findlay, Cody Bodley, Brooke Bodley and Ashley Bodley; aunts and uncles, including Charles and Ada Sgroi of Canastota; and many cousins.

Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at St. Agatha's Church, Canastota, where a funeral Mass will be held. The Rev. Kevin J. Corcoran, pastor, will officiate.

Burial will be in St. Agatha's Cemetery, Canastota. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home, 201 James St., Canastota.

In her memory, contributions may be made to Wanderers' Rest Humane Association, Inc., PO Box 535, Canastota, NY 13032, or St. Agatha's Church Bereavement Ministry, 329 N. Peterboro St., Canastota, NY 13032, with envelopes available at the funeral home.

I just received the new from my best freind about Holli. This is just a terriable accident and can't immagine what both familes are going through during this difficult time. The Read and Pickard familes are in my thoughts and prayers.
