They came from all decades, the forties, fifities even the 90's. Students who have attended the Radnor middle school and at one time the Radnor high school. The scool was opened Saturday for past students to come by and remember what once was.

Principal Bill Laffey said that some fixtures and furniture will be auctioned June 23 and 24th. On July 1st the school will have asbestos removal. In August the township police and firefighters will use it for drill and beginning August 28th demolition will begin. By December "This building will be history," Laffey said. "Enjoy your memories of this building."

Some items will be moved to the new school including the murals in the auditorium which were painted by two students in the early 50's, the war memorials by the front office and some entryways.

Denny Kane walked around the classrooms trying to remember what things had changed with Mary Pontius. They both attended the middle school in the 70's. Things were different,"I do remember the boy who leaned out the third floor window on the last day of school. He demanded a better grade and told the teacher he jump if he didn't get it. Pontius pointed to were her old locker was and remembered the kid who threw up on it. Aren't memories grand.
