STURGIS - The Outlaw Motorcycle Club is coming to Sturgis this year.

According to Meade County Sheriff Ron Merwin, official law enforcement reports indicate that the infamous rebel motorcycle gang has made plans to attend the 66th Annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally this year. However, Merwin said he does not think they have arrived yet.
The Outlaws are well known for their feuds with the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club as well as other brushes with law enforcement.
While Merwin said he has seen approximately 150-200 Hells Angels at the Rally already, he does not anticipate that there will be any trouble between the two groups. However, he said, law enforcement officials will be prepared if trouble does arise.
"We will expect the worst and hope for the best," he said.
