TRUMBULL - Randy L. Trowbridge, M.D., was elected to the Board of Trustees of the Fairfield County Medical Association at its 214th annual meeting.Dr. Trowbridge has been a member of FCMA since 1997 and served on its Legislative Committee since 2001.A resident of Southbury, Dr. Trowbridge is an attending physician at Danbury and New Milford Hospitals and is board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
He is medical director of Team Rehab, a multidisciplinary group of health care professionals who provide a team approach to evaluating, treating and preventing pain.
Through nonsurgical methods, they care for sports injuries as well as neck and back pain, joint problems, arthritis and soft tissue conditions.
The team consists of a non-surgical orthopedist, physical therapists, athletic trainers, exercise physiologists, massage therapists, and Dr. Trowbridge, a physiatrist, which is a medical doctor specializing in holistic functional evaluation of the body. Currently he has offices in Danbury and New Milford, with a new office planned for Southbury.
Dr. Trowbridge completed his medical education at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.
He served his internship at Danbury Hospital and performed his residency at Einstein/Montefiore Hospital in Bronx, New York.
