Delaware County’s favorite Survivor, Stephenie LaGrossa, will be returning to television airwaves Thursday morning, according to her publicist at Philadelphia Sports Group.

LaGrossa, an Archbishop Prendergast grad and All-Delco lacrosse player, perhaps was best known as one of CBS’s most infamous competitors on the reality television series, "Survivor," when she outlasted all of her fellow tribe mates in her first appearance on the show.

She was the first contestant in Survivor history to return and compete in the following season.

But Thursday LaGrossa will be known as a waitress on the ABC daytime soap opera, "Guiding Light," at 10 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

Officials from the Philadelphia Sports Group said ABC contacted LaGrossa for a guest appearance on the show earlier this year, which she accepted.

"Guiding Light" airs on WPVI Channel 6 for both Comcast and RCN cable subscribers.
