Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Josephine Gormley Loughead.
He was employed as a Machinist with Westinghouse for 34 years before retiring in 1985.
He was member of St. Joseph Church.
In addition to his wife, Jean, Richard is survived by four children, Edward J. Kish of North Philadelphia, John F. Kish of Wilkes Barre, Jean Marie Kish of Downingtown and Michael J. Kish, of Downingtown; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 28, at St. Joseph Church, 338 Manor Ave., Downingtown.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, Oct. 27, from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Friday, Oct. 28 from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Ave., Downingtown.
