Rayford Dawsey Harrelson
Rayford Dawsey Harrelson, 50, died Sept. 9 in Loris Hospital.
He was born in Marion County, the son of Lillie Mae Spivey Harrelson and the late Mack Roy Harrelson.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda A. Harrelson of the home; two sons, Rayford Scott Harrelson of Tabor City, N.C., and Phillip Wayne Dyson, Jr. of Hartsville; two daughters, Heather Kay Harrelson of Florida, and Kristina Ray Blackwell of Tabor City, N.C.; a brother, James Roy Harrelson of Tabor City, N.C.; three sisters, Linda Jordan of Conway, Wanda Hughes and Brenda Johnson, both of North Myrtle Beach; and five grandchildren.
Graveside services were Sept. 12, in Myrtle Beach Green Cemetery in Tabor City, and conducted by Rev. Glen Fowler.
Services were provided by Inman Funeral Home.

James Paul Ray
James Paul Ray, 66 of the Zoan community, died Sept. 8 at Loris Community Hospital.
Ray was born in Horry County, a son of Brittie Johnson Ray and the late Cecil Buck Ray.
Survivors, in addition to his mother of Galivants Ferry, include his wife, Bobbie Suggs Ray of Galivants Ferry, and a son, Thad Ray of Galivants Ferry. He was predeceased by a brother, Larue Ray.
Funeral services were Sept. 11 at Ward Funeral Home Chapel, with Glen Elliot officiating. Burial was in Bayboro Baptist Church Cemetery.
Services were provided by Ward Funeral Home in Loris

Rita Kay Adams Suggs
Rita Adams Suggs, 46, of the Daisy Community, died Sept. 10 at her home following an illness.
Born Sept. 11, 1956 in Batesburg, she was the daughter of the late George Leon "Pete" Adams and Doris Ruth Harmon Shelley. Suggs was the step-daughter of Vallie Shelley. Suggs worked as a supervisor for Coastal Apparel and was a member of the Mt. Leon Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph D. Suggs of Loris; her mother; a son, Lance Cpl. Shaun Derrick Suggs of Camp Lejune, N.C.; a brother, Randy Adams of Loris; and a sister, Joy Adams Suggs of Loris.
Funeral services were Sept. 12 at Mt. Leon Baptist Church, with committal services following in the Church cemetery.
Revs. Lonnie Johnson, Eddie Hughes and Fred Ward officiated. Memorials may be made to the Mt. Leon Church Building Fund, 9801 South Hwy. 905, Longs, SC 29568.
Arrangements were provided by Hardwick Funeral Home.

Solomon Erbie Cribb
Solomon Erbie Cribb, 85, died Sept. 11 at his home.
He was a native of Columbus County and the son of the late Tommy and Annie Williams Cribb.
Funeral services were Sept. 13 in the Inman Chapel, and were conducted by Revs. Paul Vernon Hewett and Jackie Godwin, with internment in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City, N.C.
He is survived by three daughters, Betty Lou McPherson and Bernell Duncan, both of Clarendon, N.C., and Jeanette Tyler of Hallsboro, N.C.; a son, Junior Cribb of Chadbourn, N.C.; 21 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services were provided by Inman Funeral Home.
