Successful hunters ... send us your deer
As is traditional, the Courier-Express will publish photos of bucks with 8 or more points taken during the upcoming two-week rifle season.
However, the newspaper's staff no longer takes the photos.
With the advent of digital photography, readers should submit their photos, preferably by e-mail in JPG format, to sports@thecourierexpress.com. Prints of photos can also be brought or mailed to our office at 500 Jeffers St., DuBois, PA 15801.
For junior hunters, ages 15 and younger, we will publish photos of bucks that have fewer than 8 points.
The photo should include only the hunter who took the deer and the deer itself.
Submitted photos should include the name, age and address of the hunter, information as to when and where (general area) the buck was taken, and an evening telephone number in the event of questions.
