Former exchange student visits area

Former S-O German exchange student Toni Mueller stands next to the Ocheyedan Mound sign.

      Although he's been gone for two years, Toni Mueller hasn't forgotten the names and faces of the people that made his 2007-08 exchange year special.
      "Everyone was surprised I still knew all their names," he said.
      Mueller returned to the United States July 6 for a week-long visit to the area. Previously, he had spent one year at Sibley-Ocheyedan High School as a foreign exchange student from Volkach, Germany.

Relay For Life will have 10th year August 6-7



      Relay For Life is a life-changing event that brings together more than 3.5 million people every year to celebrate the lives of those who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and empower individuals and communities to fight back against a disease that takes too much from too many.
