This week at the Van Buren Youth Fair, a 75-pound wind turbine with eight-foot diameter blades, was temporarily installed at the fairgrounds by Four Elements Energy, Lawrence. The wind turbine, used for battery charging, is capable of generating 1,000 watts of electrical power in 24 mph winds. |
