First Presbyterian is a growing congregation of friendly people of all ages who want to serve God, love one another, and make a positive difference in our community.
We cooperate closely with the other churches in Guthrie Center. We have shared children and youth activites with First Christian Church for many years.

Sunday School 9 AM Morning Worship 10 AM
Every other Wednesday the children from First Presbyterian and First Christian meet after school for a time of fun activities, singing and crafts.
The Mariners Club is for people of all ages with food and fellowship eight times a year. We often have guest speakers at our gatherings.
Our Chancel choir for youth and adults sing regularly for our congregation and for community events.
Our Chime choir is for children, youth, and adults who perform for our congregation and for community events.
Teenagers from First Presbyterian and from First Christian Church meet every other Sunday for fun, food and fellowship. The youth are planning a mission trip to Maine in July, with side trips to Boston and New York City.
