RIVER MONSTER
 Ever wonder what's swimming around in the Middle Raccoon River? This monster flathead catfish was caught just north of Lake Panorama above the Fansler bridge by Guthrie Center High School freshman Dale Vogel, 14. He used an 8" bait on a trotline. The catfish weighed 42 pounds and was nearly four feet long. After a brief photo session, the young fisherman threw his catch back into the river.
