CLIFTON PARK -Rep. Scott Murphy (D-Glens Falls) last week surprised protestors angered by his recent no vote on the House health care bill by returning to his Clifton Park office early and explaining the vote in person.
The Nov. 12 rally drew 25 protestors to the parking lot of Murphy's local office. It was organized by members of MoveOn.org and Citizen Action NY to show the level of disappointment among supporters. Both groups helped Murphy defeat state Assemblyman Jim Tedisco (R-Schenectady) this spring. |
