After thoroughly dominating Trumbull 34-0 on the road Friday night, the Staples High football team has earned a trip to the FCIAC championship game against a surprising but powerful Bridgeport Central squad. Kickoff is Friday night at 7:30 p.m. at Trumbull High as the Wreckers return to the town north of Bridgeport for the second straight week.

Make no mistake about it, the Staples boys soccer team is the class of the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC).
