LaRosa takes on Colandrea once again in mayoral race

Candidates are familiar foes
For the third time, Democratic candidate Tony LaRosa and Republican candidate Tony Colandrea will face off in Rocky Hill's race for mayor. LaRosa, a state marshal, won in 2005 and 2007 and is serving his second term as mayor. Colandrea, who works as a pediatric dentist in town, is in his first term on the Town Council.

Tuesday is election time and that means it's decision time for the voters in Rocky Hill. Candidates for Town Council and the Board of Educations recently answered questions for the Post, by phone and by e-mail. Here is what they had to say. Some answers were edited for length as candidates were asked to keep each response to approximately 150 worse or less.

Terriers rally for Senior Night victory
ROCKY HILL - For the past four years, the seniors on the Rocky Hill girls volleyball team have been part of developing a winning tradition. After never reaching the postseason in their history, the Terriers are headed to their fourth straight state tournament. They're also headed to the CCC tournament in their inaugural season in the conference.
