ROCKY HILL - Mother Nature could not keep people from their pasta. Facing snowy conditions, the Senior Pasta Dinner Jan. 28 went better than expected according to Rita Cavallaro. She said the event raised approximately $2,000 for this year's Project Graduation, an alcohol-free, all-night party held for seniors at Rocky Hill High School on graduation night.

Commissions say yes to police training facility
ROCKY HILL - The plan to build a regional police training facility on West Street is moving forward. A week after the open space and conservation commission unanimously voted in favor of the project, the planning and zoning commission also cast their support with a 4-1 vote Jan. 20.

RHHS sophomore earns prestigious spot in regional choir
What began last spring with an audition tape concludes in a week with a grand performance alongside some of the most accomplished high school singers in the eastern United States. Rocky Hill High School's Derek Holmes is one of 143 members of the All-Eastern Men's High School Honor Choir, which performs Feb. 13 in Philadelphia as part if the 2010 American Choral Directors Association Eastern Division Conference.
