WOODBURY - Brother and sister, Marco and Melissa Mazza bought the Woodbury Deli at 428 Main Street South in Pilgrims Mall this past November.Since then, they've been working hard to give the place their own personality while maintaining the high level of appetizing food Woodbury residents and businesses have come to expect. WATERBURY - Just shy of its second anniversary, Party Elegance and Gifts at 951 Chase Parkway has received a major facelift and a new focus, emerging as an upscale gift shop with a special emphasis on brides.Owner Lori Greene has renamed the shop Elizabeth Richard Gifts, a name that incorporates the middle names of her two young children. "We started the first week in January," she said, relaying the story of the changeover. "We shook the confetti off after New Year's, packed up the party goods and dismantled the store." | Shop Accepts Wigs for Reflections WOODBURY - Since October, 2009, Off the Rack Consignment Shop, 40 Main St. North, Suite B, has accepted donations of new and gently worn hats, wigs and head scarves to be given to cancer patients by Reflections Boutique, located in the Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center in Waterbury.So far, approximately 150 items have been donated. | Southbury Issues Building Permits SOUTHBURY - Permits issued by the Building Department in January included two single-family homes with a combined construction cost of $197,760. Five permits were related to other building, two were commercial, and three certificates of occupancy were issued.
