The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of a variety of computer systems (mostly Microsoft-based). Working knowledge of Microsoft Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Office required. Knowledge of Modular Fleet Management System, Aquila Drill System, wireless networks (mesh and point to point), Access, JDEdwards preferred. Position provides technical support to end users in a 150+ node computer network. Responsibilities include: SQL Server management, monitoring network security; installation and maintenance of software; hardware, and peripherals; virus protection; and training. Additionally, position will provide troubleshooting and technical support for a Modular Fleet Management System, Aquila Drill System and associated wireless networks (mesh and point to point). Successful candidate will be expected to learn and follow the environmental guidelines and responsibilities associated with the position. A B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field is highly desirable. This position demands excellent analytical, management, organization, and communication and problem solving skills. Position will work in a professional manner with users in all departments and at all levels. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision. This is an exempt position and is not eligible for overtime. This position reports to the Information Technology Supervisor.
