Services will be held Tuesday, May 5 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Defiance with burial in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. A rosary was held Monday, May 4 at 7 p.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan. Visitation was Monday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Kenkel is survived by sisters Phyllis (Delmar) Mikels of Portsmouth and Mary Claussen of Council Bluffs; and brothers Russell (Tresa) Kenkel of Marietta, Ga. and John (Lois) Kenkel of Lincoln, Neb.
