Chiropractic Concepts opens Ocheyedan office

Stephanie Veldman recently opened a satellite office of Chiropractic Concepts in the Ocheyedan city office building on main street. Veldman has been a chiropractor for 17 years following her 1992 graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport.
She was affiliated with other chiropractors until she opened her own practice in Lake Park in 1995.
The Estherville native practiced in Lake Park for 10 years and then relocated to Spirit Lake. Reflecting about her years at Lake Park, Veldman mentioned her extended client base included many from Ocheyedan, Sibley, Round Lake, Minn., and other northwest Iowa cities. After moving to Spirit Lake, clientele was still faithful but Veldman had "missed" the small town atmosphere.
This past month, the opportunity arose for Chiropractic Concepts to open an office in Ocheyedan. Veldman stated this is a central location for her patients with a 10-15 mile average radius. The chiropractor will have hours in Ocheyedan each Thursday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. In addition, Veldman's office is open at Spirit Lake Mondays and Tuesdays from 9-5, Wednesdays until 7 p.m., and Fridays 9-1, 712/330-1330. Emily Gruis will serve as the office receptionist.
Chiropractic Concepts handles athletic and D.O.T. physicals, drug screening, nutritional supplements and athletic supports. The chiropractor treats digestive irritation, tennis elbow, shoulder/rotator cuff pain and more.
Stephanie resides in Spirit Lake with husband, Terry, owner of the Pizza Ranch there, and three daughters: MacKenzie, 15, Kieja, 14 and Josephine, 11. She enjoys family time, golfing and scrapbooking.
