Angie Howard, originally from Ocheyedan and Doug Mitchell, originally from Boone, were married at Plymouth Congregational Church, Des Moines, on May 23, 2009.
Parents of the bride and groom are Rhonda Howard and the late Terry Howard and Randy and Denise Mitchell. Jeremy Howard escorted his sister down the aisle.
Matron of honor was Chantel Kloucek, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids included Alissa Swarts, Wendy Howard, Jen Ellerbroek and Gena Wilson. Best man was Justin Velky and groomsmen were Eric Mitchell, Jay Brock, Jon Beary and Nick Mortenson. Flower girls were Olivia Howard and Taylor Kloucek. Ring bearer was Tanner Kloucek and ushers were Wade Howard, Scott Kloucek, Donny Teague and Mark Shoesmith. Guest photographer was Jacob Howard. The bride is employed at Upper Des Moines and the groom is employed at Drs. Touch.
