Zura Octavia Latham Gray, 90, died March 6, 2007, at her residence in Clarksdale. She was a retired school teacher with the Greensboro school system in Greensboro, N.C. and was a member of West Market Street Methodist Church in Greensboro, N.C.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lester Gray Jr.
Survivors include a son, Joseph Gray of Clarksdale; three grandchildren, Brister Thomas of Honolulu, Hawaii, Golda Frankland of Germantown, Tenn. and LaUna Brubaker of Memphis; and five great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8 at Meredith-Nowell Chapel in Clarksdale. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. with burial in Westminister Garden in Greensboro, N.C.
Arrangements are by Meredith-Nowell Funeral Home in Clarksdale.
